Finding Truth

Lately I’ve been reading a lot about the healing aspect of nature.  I like it when I see on Facebook that one of my friends is taking a walk on the beach, camping in the mountains or just hanging out at the local arboretum. Our national and state parks these days are struggling financially.  They are amazing places — I hope as a country we never stop making them a priority for now and for future generations. Wallace Stevens said, “Perhaps the truth depends on a walk around the lake.” I think I’ll head outside right this minute.  There’s not a lake outside my door but the leaves are glorious, the wind is blowing and a walk around the block will work beautifully in my search for truth.
