Four Letter Words

My son who is an elementary school teacher and his seven year old daughter were talking about what could potentially get you in trouble at school.  One of the things they discussed was saying “bad words”.  He asked her if she knew what bad words were and she solemnly told him that she did.  “I know a bad four letter word,” she said and he braced himself. “I know the E word.”  A look of confusion crossed his face and she continued.  She very seriously and quietly told him that the word was “easy”.  “You shouldn’t say that when the teacher hands out a math paper or some other assignment at school,” she explained.  “It might not be easy for everyone and if you say that word, you could make someone else feel bad.”
