Free Floating Stress

Ever have a day when you feel out of sync with your family, your surroundings, even the universe? My friend Chris refers to those as days of “free floating stress”. I’m intrigued by this. I imagine it like those little wands dipped in a jar of soap solution and then blown out into the world — sometimes producing small bubbles, sometimes large ones that join with others. Eventually they pop and the stress that was encapsulated escapes. Does the stress float away to affect other people and their spaces?  I think instead, it dissipates and is gone.  Poof.  Just like that.  Just like one of those iridescent soap bubbles.
